Adult Ministries
Ozark First United Methodist Church

Our adult ministry includes Sunday School for all ages and visits to shut-ins. Other special activities include, but are not limited to, those highlighted below. Those who want to be an active steward for the Lord may select from the almost unlimited opportunities on our Stewardship page.

United Methodist Men

There is a breakfast meeting is held every 4th Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The meeting includes Christian fellowship and numerous presentations by guest speakers. The United Methodist Men sponsor special projects throughout the year.

United Methodist Women

The general meeting for all members is held twice a year. Various United Methodist Women’s Circles have meetings in both mornings and evenings. Please contact the church office for time of the general meeting or to find a circle that meets your schedule.

Prayer Groups

A prayer group meets each Wednesday at noon in the sanctuary. We praise God and pray for needs and concerns.

Bible Studies

We offer elective Bible studies throughout the year, taught by the pastor or another staff member. Ongoing studies and upcoming new ones are announced in our weekly United Methodist Messenger.

Sports

Our church participates in the Adult Men’s softball league. Call the office for further information.

Fun and Frolic Fellowship

This is a group of senior adults who enjoy the fellowship of traveling together and a quarterly fellowship meal. Call the church office for more information.

Young at Heart Group

A senior adult group that meets quarterly for a meal and fellowship. Call the church office for more information.

Church Library

The church library is located on the second floor of the education building, near the sanctuary.
